The aim of NTA is to co-ordinate the design team and produce first class, hi-quality documentation that meets client’s standards, thus eliminating disruption to the construction programme due to unresolved issues. The NTA methodology for all projects is initially working closely with the client to fully explore, create, develop and review planning and design options.
Review of draft brief, existing data, site conditions and any previous studies / data will occur at regular meetings with the client’s representative and alternative plan concepts will be investigated and then thoroughly analysed. After receiving directions, the final design drawings, along with some opinion of potential costs, will be prepared for the client.
Successful project completion is based upon the selection and management of the design consultants and the subsequent reporting to the client’s representative. From the onset, it is vital that the project is managed throughout the design and documentation phases, as any slippage will affect programme.
